Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Boomerang Man! I have been providing fast, personal service since 1975.

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, I’m here to help.


You have thirty (30) calendar days from the date of receipt to return any item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it.

To begin the return process, send an email containing the following information to [email protected]:

  • Name of the purchaser
  • Order number
  • Date the item was received
  • Address to which the item was shipped
  • Reason for requesting a return (refund or exchange)
  • For your own assurance of proof of the item’s condition upon return shipment, you may also attach or embed a photo of the item being returned (optional)

I will reply as soon as possible with confirmation of your return request. Your provided order number will be referenced in my site order history and used to validate the purchase price of the returned item and the date of purchase.

Your order number can be found in the notification email you receive at the time of purchase, or in your PayPal transaction history if you purchased using a PayPal account. Order numbers not found in my site history will not be eligible for return or exchange.

Approved returns which were purchased during sales or promotions or using a promo code will receive the value of the price at time of purchase (including any taxes that were initially applied).

I sometimes offer used and/or collectible boomerangs for sale. Such boomerangs are sold “as-is” and approval of returns for these special items will be at my sole discretion.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return.

If approved, your return will be processed in accordance with your selection of a refund or an exchange.

Returns may be rejected upon inspection for undisclosed damage, incorrect item, or return receipt beyond the date of allowable return window. Rejected returns will be sent back to the original shipping address following a notification email explaining the reason for return rejection.


In the case of approved refunds, a credit will automatically be issued to your original method of payment. Due to differences in policies and procedures of payment providers, please allow up to five (5) business days following email confirmation of your refund approval for refund credits to appear.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after five (5) business days, you should first contact your bank, credit card issuer, or PayPal support to check the status of your refund. If they cannot verify receipt and processing of your refund at that time, please contact me at [email protected] for further investigation and remediation.


If you elect to exchange your item, your exchange approval notification email will include the amount of exchange credit available to you upon my receipt and acceptance of your return. Once you have been notified your return has been accepted for exchange, you may select a/an item(s) of equal or lesser value, up to the amount of available exchange credit.

Any exchange credit left over after deducting the cost of your selected exchange item(s) will remain available to apply to future purchases made through The Boomerang Man site. I will provide instructions for using the Special Payments section of my site to remit payments which involve applying remaining exchange credit.

Likewise, if your selected exchange item costs more than the value of your returned item, I can provide instructions for using the Special Payments section of my site to remit the price difference after applying the value of your accepted exchange.

Shipping Returns

Buyers are responsible for any return shipping charges. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Incorrectly addressed return shipments or returns lost in transit will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that I will receive your returned item.
